We are excited to kick off our Fairtrade Chat series with a conversation between Tyler Paterson, Florists Supply Director of Cut Flower Operations, and our Marketing Intern, Shane Kustra-Nelson.
Fairtrade helps growers and workers in developing countries realize social, environmental and economic stability for themselves and those within their community.
Tyler has been with Florists Supply for 17 years. As Director of Cut Flower Operations, he oversees the procurement and logistical processes of Florists Supply’s fresh cut flowers.
Having been a part of Florists Supply’s first initiative to promote equitably sourced products, he helped Florists Supply become Fairtrade certified in 2015. He has become very knowledgeable and passionate about the Fairtrade flower program and how it helps those in developing communities.
