Magical things can happen in unlikely places. This holds true for the newest flower we have added to our coolers: Stella, the Inírida Flower.

Features of Stella
Stella grows in seemingly impossible conditions in the Guainía region of Colombia. Uniquely, It boasts a long-lasting, star-shaped appearance and displays a beautiful vibrant burgundy hue. As well, it can be dried into a brown autumnal colour, making it the perfect accent flower for a variety of seasons. Whether you use them fresh or dried, these blooms will add pops of colour to your designs.

Care and Handling
- Always cut the stems diagonally with a clean knife before placing them in water.
- Add three tablespoons of sugar per quart of water to extend the flower’s colour for longer periods.
- Keep the flowers in a fresh space, away from sunlight and direct rays — this will help the colours of the flowers last longer.
- Over time, the flowers will lose colour intensity, becoming a paler pink.
- Once the colours fade, you can remove them from the water, allowing them to dry and take on a natural brown colour. Hang them upside down to dry.
